Photography is either simple or complicated. It’s simple if you know what you’re doing and complicated if you don’t.

Ever since I can remember I have been interested in photography from my first 110 Instamatic at the age of seven to the medium format professional cameras I use today. I have recently finished my masters degree in Photographic Studies, this has left me an inquiring and thoughtful practitioner, one who is always striving to challenge and educate myself. I am an eclectic photographer and am interested in many different styles and subject matter. This is in a sense a reflection of my personality as I am generally inquisitive and love travelling, seeing new places and meeting and interacting with people from different cultures.

What Sam Loves:

• Food especially exotic food - see my waist line for proof!!
• Sea, sunshine and nature!
• A good social gathering (Party)
• I am part fish, so I naturally love to swim, in fact anything water related and I am interested.
• Photography - of course!!

What Sam doesn’t Love:

• Cold wet grey days, unless I am allowed to stay in bed and watch movies.
• Brussel sprouts.
• Rudeness and intolerance.
• Any form of racism.
• Going to the dentist!
